Thetford Academy is looking for an inspiring, innovative, and dedicated teacher of art to help our pupils achieve their full potential.

We serve a busy and growing market town, with a broad academic and vocational curriculum from Year 7 through to sixth form. The right teacher will share our belief that all pupils have the right to succeed and to have access to the very best education. You will be able to enthuse, engage, motivate, and challenge pupils in this important and popular subject across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Applicants should be enthusiastic and ambitious for their pupils and school. You should also possess a genuine enjoyment for school life and be willing to play a part in our extracurricular activities.

We are part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked as the country’s top family of comprehensive schools for pupil progress to GCSE, and work closely with our fellow schools across the region. We are committed to offering excellent professional and learning opportunities for our staff.

Our location close to the A11 makes us easy to reach from Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. The rich pine forests and heathland of the Brecks are close by to help you relax in your time off, with good connections both to London and to Norfolk’s fabulous beaches and Broads.
