We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills, you will need to be confident in front of groups as you will be teaching 19+ people. The Employability Tutor will ideally have experience in teaching before. We are a high-achieving college who attract around 3,000 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park, we have a huge range of courses and superb facilities.
As the Employability Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering Employability qualifications to a range of learner. You will be responsible for maximising learner achievement and ensuring learners are provided with an excellent experience. You will be required to develop and maintain a library of tools to support learners’ needs. You will be required to meet the awarding body standards for the qualifications being delivered and contribute to standardisation activates.
Although the role is based in Southampton (Basepoint Centre), successful applicants will be required to work from different locations across Dorset and Hampshire, therefore own transport is essential.
