We are seeking a part time Vocational Centre Manager to join our Education and Training department. This is one of a number of brand new roles to the organisation and you will enjoy an unrivalled opportunity to play a part in ensuring the success of St Christopher’s £6.5million investment in our new Learning Hub by raising awareness of our Education offering within the community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a leading hospice that aspires to a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to care and support, whenever and wherever they need it. Every year, St Christopher's provides this care and support to over 6,000 people in south east London as well as hosting training for healthcare professionals across the globe.

Your new role will involve managing the established City & Guilds centre and activity of trainers, assessors and quality assurers, maintaining the centre’s sanction free record since it was established 5 years ago and continuing to develop the qualification and vocational programme offer to new markets whilst fulfilling the needs of our current customer base. Your role will involve higher level administrative activities and the management and utilisation of data.

To succeed in this role
you will need demonstrable experience of managing the delivery, quality assurance and assessment of vocational qualifications and programmes and will have an excellent understanding of current regulation and Awarding Organisation requirements. Experience of working within qualification delivery is essential; occupational competence in healthcare an advantage but not essential. You will be able to motivate and lead from within a team, be supremely organised and have a keen attention to detail. You will bring ideas and energy and be able to work on your own initiative.
