You will support the College in building the capacity and capability to deliver substantive work placements and for students on vocational full time Study Programmes. We are looking for people with a passion for facilitating student learning who can help our students reach their full academic potential. As a Work Placement Officer you will be responsible for building strong relationships with employers and other organisations, such as the National Citizen Service, to explore opportunities for student work placements and work related learning. You will work with organisations to assess candidate suitability for placements as well as working with students to ensure they are fully prepared for their placement. You will then evaluate work placement impact on student learning and progress, and direct, supervise, guide and support student learning activities on relevant programmes.
Additionally to this, you will respond to and support students with any concerns, problems or needs that they may have during their work placements and/or whilst undertaking work related projects. You will also ensure that employers are well informed and kept up to date as necessary on student progress.
Dynamic and innovative approach

Confidence and experience dealing with external customers
Good English, Maths and IT skills
Level 2 in Safeguarding (or commitment to complete Level 2 prior to commencing employment)
