Lecturer - SEND
up to £40,384 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
We are currently looking for qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our SEND team. Our department delivers a range of courses including independent living skills, technology, communication, personal development, employability and enterprise. A commitment to working with young people/adults with additional support needs underpins all aspects of our work.
The post will include tutoring and teaching groups of learners with learning disabilities and difficulties on a range of subjects including IT, Sport and Vocational Studies. The post will involve developing student’s employability and inter-personal skills. An interest and commitment to personalised learning, a student-centred approach and experience of working with young people/adults with learning disabilities is essential.
