Apprenticeships Programme Manager
£42,418 - £49,149 per annum
37 hours per week
Due to the growth of our higher and degree apprenticeships, the School of Business, Law & Communications are seeking to appoint an Apprenticeships Programme Manager to oversee both development and delivery of a range of apprenticeship programmes across the subject areas such as Management & Leadership, Project Management & Facilities Management.
The suitable candidate will have significant experience of working with employers and/or training providers to deliver apprenticeships and a solid track record in developing strong, collaborative and productive working relationships at a senior level across a diverse group of wider stakeholders. With our success to date having benefited from strong collaborative working with the university Business Development Teams, the ability to work closely across a range of university internal stakeholders is essential to the success of on boarding, development and growth of programmes.
You will be responsible for the academic management and development across a range of Degree Apprenticeship programmes. We are looking for an individual who can display strong aptitude for people management to lead our team of lecturers, alongside having a rigorous approach to quality of teaching, learning and assessment. You will be responsible for managing these blended learning programmes, alongside spending up to a maximum of 50% of the role on course/unit leadership and teaching.
Having a passion for teaching, imparting knowledge and engendering new skills and behaviours, keeping up to date in an ever-changing world, and importantly role-modelling your interest in inquiring into and working with organisations to promote the professional development of our higher and degree apprentices, are all needed for this varied, evolving role.
