If so, Bournemouth and Poole College are looking for a Machinist / Instructor to join their team. You will be working in the construction department based in Fulcrum in Mannings Heath. It is a strong curriculum area with over 370 full time students and 400 apprentices.

Bournemouth and Poole College is looking for a Machinist/Instructor to be responsible for Implementing and maintaining maintenance schedules and undertaking all maintenance activities to ensure all machines are fit for use and are well maintained.
The role will include you contributing to the development and delivery of a range of educational programmes including identifying learning objectives, determining, designing and producing study material, planning course/study programme delivery. You will also prepare, cut and store wood for use by students, lecturers and instructors.
You will also undertake an instructing role to deliver high quality and effective instructing and learning of Carpentry studies to Bournemouth and Poole College students.

• Industry experience in carpentry and joinery.
• Preparation of timber materials
• Maintenance of machines and the machine work shop
• Maintaining stock levels
• Work closely with all staff and offering support
• Instruct on practical workshop sessions
