Deputy Adult Learning Service Manager
Suffolk County Council is responsible for leading and commissioning an Ofsted rated 'Good' and significantly sized learning offer, accessed by nearly 5,000 adult residents across the county. Due to recent changes within the service infrastructure, the council is now seeking to appoint two exceptional adult learning professionals to drive forward adult learning in Suffolk.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for the portfolio of contract management, performance and quality across the service and will be the designated Safeguarding Lead.
We are seeking an experienced adult learning professional with current and relevant experience in performance and quality management.
* be responsible for ensuring all service delivery is responsive to, and in line with, the Adult Learning Strategy
* have total oversight of provision and will ensure provision is eligible for funding and in line with projected delivery schedules
* hold current Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualifications (desirable) and be experienced in leading moderation of quality systems such as Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA).
