As part of the IT Systems Team you will ensure the configuration and operational readiness of College’s systems, including provision, maintenance and development of the services and network infrastructure in line with agreed service level agreements. Under the direction of the IT Systems Manager, you will also take an active role in the development of specialist projects.
The successful candidates will have a good technical background with the administration of at least six of the following technologies: Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Office 2016, Google for Education, Skype for Business, VMware, Cisco, Windows 10, SCCM, MacOs, Linux, and ZENworks.
You must be a committed team player, enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated and responsible. You will be able to effectively manage and organise your own time, identify project goals and plan to achieve them.
Good written and verbal communication skills, together with the ability to take ownership of incidents whilst ensuring issues are prioritised and resolved effectively, are essential for this role. You will also have a proven track record with troubleshooting and delivering an excellent service to stakeholders.
