Cambridgeshire Adult Learning and Skills offers opportunities for adults to have a second chance at improving their lives through learning. We are proud of the difference we make to people’s lives. At our most recent inspection we were graded as ‘Good’. We are working hard to be graded ‘Outstanding’ at our next inspection.
Due to the success of our work we are looking for qualified sessional tutors who can deliver 1:1 and group sessions to a variety of learners including learners whose first language is not English, those with mental health issues, adults with learning difficulties and autism.
• Employability Skills including supporting learners into work
• Functional Skills (English, Maths or IT)
• Delivering traineeships and apprenticeships
• Training Volunteers
• Independence Skills
We deliver learning wherever our learners need us including, libraries, Children’s Centres, Schools, village halls in Cambridge City, South Cambs, East Cambs, Huntingdonshire and Fenland. We have five learning centres in libraries across the county. Tutors are based in one of our learning centres and are reimbursed for travel beyond that.
