New City College, Redbridge Campus, located in East London, is one of the top performing General Further Education Colleges in London and was graded as "good" with OFSTED at the last inspection in December 2015.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Lecturer in Media Production who is committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching. You will have experience teaching moving image media production at L2 and L3 on either BTEC or UAL Diploma programmes. You should have experience of production planning, camerawork and VT editing, and relevant hardware and software associated with these. You should also be able to deliver the relevant media studies elements relating to production, including types of media product and purpose, genre, codes & conventions.

Your enthusiasm will encourage students to achieve their maximum potential, and promote in students appropriate industry-standard practices and skills.

Good communication skills, and a commitment to equal opportunities is essential for this post.

It is essential that all applicants have a minimum Level 5 Teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this. Applicants will have a degree in media or related degree.
