MIS and Exams Coordinator
Full-time (37 hours per week)
Circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits
The Fashion Retail Academy (FRA), founded in 2005, is the UK’s leading vocational FE Academy specialising in fashion and retail education. We have charity status and make it our mission to inspire and develop talent for a specialist career in fashion retail.
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a suitably qualified and experienced MIS and Exam Coordinator to oversee the effective operation of our core student management information system, reporting systems and mandatory data returns to funding bodies. You will be responsible for all administrative and compliance elements of qualification registration, award claims and examinations. You will be the primary internal point of contact for the Academy’s student management information system as well as externally with suppliers for resolution of issues. With a remit to proactively develop and optimise the use of our student management information system, this role is key in supporting the development and delivery of our information strategy.
The ideal candidate will come from an FE education background with experience of student information systems, ILR returns and data quality assurance processes. An understanding of funding policy will be an advantage. It is essential that you have advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. vlookups, pivot tables etc.) combined with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. If you have a passion for using data and information systems to support the delivery of strategy, are driven and ambitious and you are looking for a vibrant environment to apply and further develop your career, then we would like to hear from you.
