Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor
POST REFERENCE: EESUP-011
SALARY: Scale SO1 (£28,461 to £30,199 per annum inclusive of London Weighting)
HOURS: Permanent, 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
LOCATION: Based on one of the main college sites, though the post holder will be required to work on any of the other college’s sites as appropriate

Barnet and Southgate College are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified trainer/assessor to be employed on a full time basis, fixed term for 2 years, within the work based learning unit at the college.
You will work on our apprenticeship programmes and should have experience of delivering on three or more of the following programmes:
• Business Administration
• Customer Service
• Team Leading
• Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)
You will ideally have a relevant degree level qualification or a minimum level 3 qualification with employer engagement experience. You will be expected to have a full teaching qualification such as DTTLs, CertEd or PGCE; and Assessor qualification such as D32, D33, D34, A1, V1, or the new QA qualifications will be considered.
Experience of delivering and supporting teaching and learning in the workplace is essential, as is proof of occupational competence in the relevant vocational area. A substantial amount of travel will be required, as will some unsociable hours.
