This role is 52 weeks a year and includes non-term time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated counselling tutor to join our Vocational team. We are looking for people to teach on our Level 4 Counselling courses (day and evening) to start as soon as possible depending on pre-employment checks.
You should ideally be qualified in counselling to level 5, have a level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to obtain this within 3 years) and have occupational competence in a counselling role.
You will be expected to support the internal quality assurance of the current offer of counselling qualifications. If the ideal candidate does not hold an Award in Internal Verification, the College will offer the course as part of their CPD.
We offer excellent support, training and mentoring for all new members of staff.
This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
