We currently have an exciting opportunity for a junior research associate (impact and evaluation) to cover maternity leave on our Strategic School Improvement Fund (SSIF) Project, based at our Curriculum Centre in Norwich.

This is a new project, funded by the Department for Education and led by the Inspiration Trust, working in collaboration with research partner schools across the east of England. The project aims to investigate the impact of a knowledge-rich primary curriculum on the reading abilities of Year 4 students over five academic terms.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, inspiring, and able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in analysing data, producing reports, and adopting a collaborative approach. Recent experience of applied quantitative methods and the ability to write up research to a high standard is essential. An aspiration to publish scholarly research is also important for this role.

Candidates need to have a Masters or equivalent professional experience in applied quantitative methods (e.g. statistics, psychology, or economics). This role may be particularly suitable for doctoral students. Familiarity with benchmark reading tests and research on classroom practices, teaching and learning would be beneficial.

To apply for this role please complete the application form for support roles and the personal and recruitment monitoring form.

Closing date for application is: Monday, May 28 2018

Interview date: w/c June 4 2018.

Inspiration Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
