Salary Range: AE 1-4; £20.10 – £29.55 per hour depending on qualifications and course level.

Hours: Various (including evenings and Saturdays)

We have an exciting opportunity at Southend Adult Community College for a Tutor of Floristry to join our Community Learning team.

The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners, in order to give them the skills they need to grow on their personal development course. To do this successfully you:

• Will need to be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in the subject specialism
• Will have up to date commercial experience and hold the relevant subject qualifications
• Will have previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes
• Will need to have a Diploma in Education and Training at Level 3 (or be willing to obtain this within 1 year)

You will need to have experience of teaching adults and have commercial experience of flower arranging. The courses are aimed at beginners and will be delivered at the Southchurch Centre site.

We offer excellent support, training and mentoring to all new members of staff.

This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
