You will support staff and students to ensure the smooth running of the use of ILT in the classroom and curriculum. We are looking for candidates with excellent understanding of digital media capture, editing and publishing as well as a positive, creative and flexible approach to all the work you undertake.

As an ILT Assistant your main areas of responsibility will include: supporting staff and students who are using ILT in the classroom; helping with planning and embedding ILT into the curriculum; staff training to nationally recognised standards; development of on-line learning materials as well as training staff in the use of the VLE and ILT systems.
Additionally, you will support staff in the creation of e-learning resources using software such as Camtasia, Adobe Editing Suite and PowerPoint. You will also be expected to create, edit and integrate multi-media materials into web based e-learning as and when requested.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
• Good understanding of digital media capture, editing and publishing
• Skilled in the use of media editing packages
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Good administration ability

• Inherent creativity and flair
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Level 2 maths and English
• Level 3 qualification
• Completed 1st two years of a relevant university degree in preparation for this work placement
