Programme Leader in Building Services and Higher Education

Salary: Up to £39,037

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Programme Leader in Building Services and Higher Education, to drive our continued success in providing high quality teaching and our passion for ensuring student success.

As an ambitious Programme Leader in Building Services and Higher Education, you will work with all Curriculum Managers and staff in the Construction craft area (Building Services), across the full range of programmes delivered and assessed. You will effectively monitor teaching and learning on these programmes and be responsible for the co-ordination and successful leadership of a cross-college programme.

As a Lecturer, you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

With a PGCE or Certificate in Education and a relevant degree, you will have a good understanding of issues in Environmental technologies relating to the curriculum area, and with a sound knowledge of teaching and learning practices and the assessment processes.

You will also be required to demonstrate successful teaching of Building Services topics and that you can aid the expansion of this area of work and contribute to the Division’s commitment to high achievement and success rates for Higher Education and Work Based Learners.
