If so then Bournemouth & Poole College are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Campaign and Events Officer to join their marketing department in based in Poole.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer and have previous experience planning, executing and evaluating individual marketing campaigns. You will be a positive, helpful and supportive individual who is passionate about attracting new student enquiries and creating a positive brand experience for the college within the local community.

The Role

As Marketing Campaign and Events Officer, you will be responsible for delivering externally facing marketing campaigns that drive new enquiries to the college. You will support department managers to plan and deliver departmental marketing campaigns.
As well as this, you will be planning and delivering college-wide events including the pre-event marketing, event-day delivery and post event evaluation. You will need to develop and maintain event management protocols to ensure a high degree of professionalism, consistency and co-ordination for all college events.
Duties will include planning, executing, assessing and evaluating marketing campaigns, initiatives, plans and materials ensuring that the college brand is accurately and positively portrayed. You will be expected to provide a positive helpful and reputable point of reference for curriculum areas and support departments.

Additionally, you will act as a central point of liaison between advertising agencies, the design agency and the college, and aid the smooth, creative and on-time delivery of marketing materials.
It is essential that you are a team player and you have the ability to form strong working relationships both within and outside the college. However, you must also feel confident working individually with minimal supervision.
Key skills, responsibilities and attitudes

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• GCSEs/O level qualifications in English and Maths
• GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Excellent planner and organiser
• Excel
• Thorough understanding of the marketing mix

• Experience in campaign and event marketing, management and delivery
• Ability to negotiate with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Trustworthy, professional and strong team player
