As a Pre-16 Coordinator you will meet with key personnel within schools, building strong relationships to ensure that all student needs are met within what the College can offer. Pre enrolment duties will include: generating and responding to all Pre-16 enquiries; working with curriculum areas to agree and plan KS4/EHE provision; coordinate with schools to ensure provisions; develop and deliver presentations and workshops to promote the college to schools; attend assemblies and class meetings in schools to promote the college as well as coordinating events and activities requested by schools.
You will also coordinate with schools and parents following enrolment of students, to ensure that all parties are informed and aware of how students are progressing and can therefore assist should there be any problems. This will involve: coordinating pre-16 student absences at college, ensuring schools are informed; ensuring attendance is monitored and reported; reporting any discipline, safeguarding and well-being issues to relevant schools and parents, ensuring termly reports are distributed to relevant parties as well as ensuring that parents and schools are aware of schemes of work that students should be following.
As the expert for KS4 within the college you will ensure that all relevant staff understand KS4 processes and procedures.
This is an exciting new role completely focused on building relationships with external and internal stakeholders to manage Key stage 4 contracts. You will work in close collaboration with Directors of Learning, Learning Managers, LS Practitioners and other Student Services and support staff.
