Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, with an ambitious strategic plan. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to join the College to lead the delivery and development of programmes in the Health & Social care area.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the curriculum and for the efficient and effective allocation of resources including staffing. You will also be responsible for the attainment of key performance indicators relating to enrolment, achievement, (including high grades where applicable) and progression.
The ideal candidate will have as a minimum a level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care combined with substantial teaching experience in Health & Social Care programmes from level 1 to level 3. A Cert Ed or equivalent is also essential combined with experience of making a significant contribution to programme and curriculum management. Possession of an A1 and V1 Assessor Award is desirable.
