We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Lecturer in Law with the potential to deliver outstanding student achievement and a commitment to driving forward the provision of A Level Law within the Division to ensure student success.

As an ambitious trainee lecturer, you will work closely with all the Curriculum Managers and the Programme leader/s responsible for the relevant course provision to maintain and develop the curriculum and maintain the excellent results within the Division. You will also liaise with other Cross-College areas to enhance the student experience.

As a trainee lecturer your contact teaching hours, relevant to subject specialism, will increase as you gain in skills and experience.

Ideally you also possess a PGCE or Certificate in Education. However should you not have this, the College has an excellent Staff Development programme where a recognised teaching qualification can be gained.

Qualified to degree level, you will possess knowledge of current issues relating to Law relating to the curriculum area and ideally of current AS/A Level Law specifications. The ability to show experience of teaching Law at AS/A Level and Higher Education level would be advantageous but not essential.
