As a customer service advisor, you will work on both the College Enquiry Centre and Reception dealing with enquiries from customers, students and colleagues. You will be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls, answering queries, use of live chat and providing initial information where required. You are expected to process all customer enquiries in a timely and responsive manner in line with college standards. All information will be recorded and kept up to date and therefore you will need to ensure the efficient entry of data into our systems. Your role will primarily focus on responding to calls and emails, whilst covering the reception desk when needed.
When working on reception you will greet and sign in visitors to the main reception, help students staff and customers with questions and directions around the site. You will also help process petty cash and daily payments following college procedures.
You will also be expected to participate in additional college events and conduct additional role duties on an ad hoc basis.
