Freelance Motor Vehicle Internal Quality Assurer

Do you want to be a part of this? We have an exciting opportunity for Freelance Motor Vehicle Internal Quality Assurers to join our team of professionals to lead all operational activities required for planning, supporting and securing quality improvement.

About You

You will support YMCA Training staff to deliver outstanding programmes of teaching, learning and assessment that meet the needs of our learners to achieve consistent and timely success in their training.

You will assure the delivery of quality provision to all learners, ensuring that the learners, employers and stakeholder’s needs are met effectively and efficiently. You will be working closely with the Quality Improvement Practitioner and Business Managers to identify, plan, coordinate and deliver a programme of continuous professional development.

You will also be able to:

• Regularly maintain effective quality assurance and audit systems.
• Coordinate the process of teaching, learning and assessment observation.
• Organise and deliver Self-Assessment days, Staff Development days and any other related activities to support continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate and deliver appropriate staff development.
• Oversee the External Quality Assurer report actions planning process.

Are you up for the challenge? You will have excellent communication skills, great rapport building ability and be able to manage conflict and provide constructive feedback. You’ll be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills (supported by good IT skills).

You will also need:

• Practical current vocational skills, expertise and working knowledge in the areas you are required to support and quality assure;
• PGCE or Certificate in Education;
• DTTLS qualification or equivalent;
• V1 qualification or equivalent;
