About the College
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. We are one of the largest providers of A Level and vocational programmes for 16 to 19 year olds in the region. We also deliver a range of Traineeships and Apprenticeships and work with over 1,000 employers, helping them to recruit apprentices and provide bespoke training for their employees. About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced individual to help lead our Foundation English and Maths Division.
The Deputy Head of Division will support the Head of Division in the improvement of attainment in English and maths subjects for all study programme students. They will lead their team to ensure student progress on English and Maths is tracked closely, GCSE high grade attainment improves and the teaching of English and Maths is of the very highest quality. They will support the Head of Division in working closely with Vocational Heads of Division and teams to ensure that these skills are developed in vocational lesson and that the importance of English and Maths is promoted to all students. They will also support the delivery of functional skills to apprentices at the college.
Possessing excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, they will be able to bring together practitioners from across the College to provide high quality teaching and learning and success for the benefit of our students.
