Join a great team and be part of something special...

Charles Warren Academy (CWA) opened on 1st September 2012 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). Our school is situated in the beautiful area of Simpson, surrounded by trees and bordering the canal. We cater for children aged 4-11 years old and we have high expectations for all with an inclusive outlook.

We aspire for CWA to be an inspirational and exciting place to learn where children can achieve their very best. Our children are enthusiastic, hardworking and want to succeed. Standards continue to rise and the staff work tirelessly to achieve our shared vision and aims!

Due to the expansion of our provision, we are looking to appoint two SEN Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking and friendly team and support children with specific areas of SEND.

You will:

• Have a flexible attitude and a genuine passion to change children’s lives by inspiring them to reach and exceed their social and academic potential.
• Be able to communicate effectively and relate well to both children and adults.
• Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification, or the equivalent.
• Have previous experience working with children in a school/early years environment

You will be able to:

• Understand specific learning needs and styles and provide differentiated support to students individually and within groups.
• Make teaching and learning innovative, exciting and fun for all children and have the ability to adjust activities according to specific needs.

As a school, we highly value our Teaching Assistants and are committed to offering training, development and additional mentoring to achieve desired goals. We can also offer you a supportive and dedicated staff team, a welcoming environment with a lovely atmosphere and happy, welcoming children who are keen to learn.

As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be entitled to the following benefits: a health cash plan, vehicle affinity scheme, childcare vouchers and Westfield rewards.
