About the role

To provide technical support to the Music Department.

16 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time). Permanent role.

Who we are looking for

• Educated to GCSE standard
• Previous work experience (could be voluntary) involving the use of computers or music
• Committed to working co-operatively with young people; able to communicate sensitively, imaginatively and effectively with them
• Able to create a team ethos across a team
• Able to motivate and encourage problem solving
• Able to communicate effectively with parents to represent the Academy positively and feed back information as appropriate
• One or two years’ experience in the same or similar post
• Knowledge of working in a school environment
• Work effectively and supportively as a member of a team
• Act on own initiative, dealing with unexpected problems that arise
