BBO Project Coordinator - Ways into Work Project - Southern Region

We are seeking a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating Project activities for the Ways into Work Project within East Berkshire

This is a Building Better Opportunities funded project.

Building Better Opportunities (BBO)

Big Lottery Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.

The Workers’ Educational Association [WEA] is an educational charity delivering responsive, relevant and accessible programmes of learning across England and Scotland. Through our vision of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and cultural studies, we raise the educational aspirations of local communities.

We are seeking to recruit a project coordinator who, will be responsible for coordinating Ways into Work Project activities within East Berkshire and ensure that outputs and outcomes are met according to contract requirements.

Building Better Opportunities is an exciting collaboration that aims to meet the needs of people living in East Berkshire, who remain the most excluded from the workforce. This project embeds the Supported Employment model within all its practice and all partners have signed up to this vision.

The post holder will be responsible for implementing the BBO project plan including engaging and working with individuals most excluded from the workforce and helping them through the supported employment process. The will be required to work with a number of partner organisations and employers in order to establish placement opportunities.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience delivering one-to-one support and project management experience with excellent administrative skills.
