We are looking for an experienced Compliance and Data Protection Manager to manage and ensure legal compliance and information and data security across our organisation.

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will fulfil the legal role of Data Protection Officer across all aspects of the Federation in our capacity as Data Controller. You will pursue and manage an active relationship with all data processors contracted to work with the Federation and ensure their own compliance and diligence when acting on our behalf.

Part of the role will be to identify and mitigate risks across all aspects of Data Protection, and with it, bring expert and up to the minute knowledge on best practice and current and impending legislations.

You will work closely with all departments within the Federation and with all academies to develop, embed and ensure policies are robust and effective to ensure IT and Data Security in the increasingly digital world in which we live. A confident communicator, you will deliver high quality training to all colleagues to ensure that they are fully aware of all policies and take an active role in promoting best practice across the Federation.

To excel in this role, excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.
