‘Staff are highly skilled and their industry leading experience are strengthened as a result of good quality professional development and training’ Ofsted 2018
We are a national network of 64 primary, special and secondary academies. We are passionately committed to inspiring children and young people.
Our apprentice offer is rapidly growing and we are delighted that we have judged as ‘good’ in all sections by Ofsted following our inspection in November 2017.
We are looking to appoint Assessors to assess Level 2 and Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning apprentices. You will manage the delivery of individual Apprenticeship programmes including the planning and delivery of induction, learning and assessment, reviews and recording of progress ensuring timely achievement of qualifications. You will visit apprentices every four weeks in their workplace. The successful candidate will hold Level 3 qualification in relevant area of work and will hold CAVA, A1 or D32/D33 Award or be working towards this. Experience of using Smart Assessor or a similar eportfolio system would be an advantage.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be entitled to the following benefits: a health cash plan, vehicle affinity scheme, childcare vouchers and Westfield rewards.
The positions are required as soon as possible on a casual basis.
Closing date: Friday 26 January. Interviews are available immediately so we would welcome early applications as applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response. All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.
