Location: Somerset (workbase – dependent on successful applicant)

SS&L are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Sector Team Leader to lead the Business Administration and Customer Service team.

The post holder will be responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, coordinating learner enrolments and taking responsibility for the delivery of targets in the sector area. With recent occupational sector experience, as well as some knowledge of Government funded programmes, including Apprenticeships and the impact of the Apprenticeship Reforms, you will lead the team’s transition to the delivery of the Apprenticeship standards. The post holder will manage IQA functions, as well as EQA communications and visits.

You will need excellent organisational skills and communication skills, including report writing. You will need a high level of IT skills, be a good team player, be able to use your own initiative and have your own transport. You must have experience of working to key targets and management of learner performance to maximise success rates.
