The academy is based in Thamesmead in a purpose built building. Our vision is clear: nothing is impossible and everything is possible, irrespective of personal characteristics or background. Every problem has a solution. We believe we are more robust, resilient and determined as a team than as a group of individuals. We support, challenge and hold each other to account at all levels within the academy to ensure that our students achieve their potential, are motivated, engaged and fully prepared for life beyond our academy.
We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious and dynamic Director of PE and Vocational Qualifications. You will have excellent opportunities to engage in wider Harris Federation academy improvement and professional development activities.

•A collaborative and motivated individual who will lead the subject through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes.
•A PE leader who passionately believes in extra-curricular activities and sports fixtures
•As a senior leader, to assist the Executive Principal and the Principal in the strategic and operational management, development and leadership of the academy, and ensure the achievement of our ethos, aims and objectives within the context of the academy’s strategic and development plans.
