Richmond Adult Community College and Hillcroft College have recently merged to create a new College with two sites in Richmond and Surbiton.

The College provides an impressive environment to support learning. We design and deliver courses to meet the needs, interests and abilities of both adults and young people who wish to learn in an adult environment.

As well as a BSc in a Science related subject, we expect applicants to hold a teaching qualification. We would expect you to be able to teach GCSE Biology (9-1). Initially we are looking for someone to teach on a GCSE Biology course on Tuesday evenings from December 2017. This course will be taking place at the Richmond site (Parkshot).

Previous experience of teaching GCSE Biology would be an advantage. As a part-time tutor you will be expected to complete the administration associated with these courses. You will also be expected to attend team meetings at least once a term during an academic year. So if you are knowledgeable, dependable and interested in this work and have relevant qualifications and experience, please do apply for this role.

As a Part-time Tutor, you will join our bank of teaching staff and will be offered courses as and when that match your area of expertise. Part-time Tutors work closely with Programme Leaders in the designing, planning and delivering of courses which stretch and challenge our learners as well as prepare a variety of learning materials, provide guidance to learners on progression options, attend termly meetings and complete course administration.
