Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, delivering 300 courses to more than 7000 students from entry level to full degrees. This is a very exciting time to be joining our Vocational Studies team at the College, whilst our course provision continues to thrive and expand. To respond to the needs of our learners, applications are invited for a fulltime Team leader to develop and run the Prince’s Trust Team Programme, designing and delivering content and/or learning materials within the Prince’s Trust Team framework.
This role will be responsible for providing high quality support for young people on the Prince’s Trust Team Programme. Experience of providing pastoral support to students who can present challenging behaviour, together with specialist knowledge of young people and their barrier to education are both essential to this role. Equally, the successful candidate must have prior experience of running week long residential trips.
We would particularly welcome applications from individuals that hold a teaching qualification and have attained the A1 Assessors and V1 Verifier’s awards.
Please Note: The successful candidate must be available to attend essential Prince’s Trust Team Leader training between Monday 24th and Friday 28th August 2015.
