SECTOR MANAGER: BUSINESS SKILLS DEPARTMENT (full time/part time)
The Henley College is a highly popular and successful Sixth Form College in the heart of the Thames Valley. Due to an extensive planned expansion of our business apprenticeship offering, we are looking to appoint a Sector Manager who can contribute to the continuing success and planned growth of our suite of business qualifications. Currently we provide high quality qualifications including Business Administration, levels 2-4, Management Level 3 and 5, Team Leading, Marketing, Customer Service, Functional Skills and TAQA. We plan to grow our offer over the next 3 years to include IT, Sales, AAT and other professional qualifications.
Responsibilities include line management of a team of trainers, IQAs and assessors.
The successful Sector Manager (Business Skills department) will be enthusiastic and ideally have relevant industry experience in business plus have a wealth of experience of leading the Internal Quality Assurance function across a range of qualifications. Management experience or qualification is desirable.
• Assessor qualification
• Internal Quality Assurer qualification: L4 Certificate in Lead the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment, or 3 years’ experience of leading Internal Quality Assurance
The salary will be up to £34,038 per annum (pro rata for Part Time).
