The Harris Academy Falconwood opened in September 2008. The academy’s specialisms are Enterprise and Sport with a ‘can-do’ ethos of always improving upon your personal best. Our accommodation since September 2011 has been a new, purpose-built academy to the value of £25 million.
We are looking for a dynamic, qualified Teacher of Maths, either experienced or NQT.
What we are looking for:
We want to appoint staff who will make a difference to the Harris Academy Falconwood during this exciting and challenging time.
You will have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference to students and young people from Bexley, Greenwich and the surrounding area, and to help build on the academy’s outstanding first eight sets of GCSE results. You should be able to teach to at least Key Stage 4 and hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
The successful candidate can expect to work in an atmosphere of mutual support and co-operation. There will be ample opportunity to develop your teaching styles and learn leadership skills within our highly supportive Induction or NQT Programmes.

•The opportunity to work in an academy judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted
•A can-do, enterprising culture, combining the traditional values of discipline, respect and good behaviour with contemporary best practice in teaching and technology
•A stunning new building in which to teach and learn
