JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Lecturer to join our Business team. The vision and ability to course team lead Level 3 Business study programmes is central to the role, whilst maintaining a high quality provision with strong links to employers and the Business sector. Experience of planning, delivery, assessment and verification of Level 2 and Level 3 Business curriculum is essential. The role sits within a larger Business, Tourism and Events Department that allows for an exciting and collaborative working environment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 A degree and/or professional qualification in Business or a related subject area.
 A relevant teaching qualification
 GSCE A*-C in maths and English.
 A strong track record of good or better teaching and learning delivery, whilst achieving high levels of student success.
 Experience of curriculum, course design and assessment that meets awarding body requirements.
 Highly developed course team leadership skills, and effective implementation of quality systems and engagement with student voice as a driver for quality improvement.
 Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety and child protection legislation, as it affects learning.
 Recent experience of delivering BTEC Level 3 Business
