We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated individual to support an HR Manager in the provision of a high quality service to all managers and staff across the college. This role will involve dealing with both employee relations issues and recruitment and selection.
You should have the confidence and ability to advise managers and staff on a range of HR matters. You should therefore have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and its practical application. The role will also require you to provide an effective administrative service. You should have successfully completed a level 5 qualification in HRM or equivalent and be an Associate Member of the CIPD.
You must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and be an experienced Microsoft Office user (Word/Excel). Accuracy and attention to detail and an excellent customer service ethos are essential. Experience of using an integrated HR/payroll system would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of current and forthcoming UK employment law and be able to proactively seek ways to continuously improve the HR service.
