We have exciting opportunity for an experienced inspirational leader to join our engineering team. We are a progressive college and one of the fastest growing in the country, over the past 3 years we have seen an increase in excess of 50 per cent in our core 16-18 numbers to over 3,800 learners, and we now rank as one of the largest providers in the Black Country and West Midlands. We have further plans to develop over the next few years our new engineering provision offering a wide range of courses in further education and higher education engineering disciplines. Our success rates are now well above national averages and 12th in the country and we striving to improve further. The strength of the College was recognised in the recent Black Country Review which confirmed our ambitions and we will continue as a standalone college working with partners.
We are looking for an outstanding, innovative and inspirational experienced leader who will lead the engineering teams and build upon the achievements and strengths of the College, and share their outstanding teaching and management knowledge to further raise the standards and reputation of the college.
Proven leadership and management skills are essential as is a passion for success with a commitment to meeting the needs of stakeholders and our local and regional communities. Excellent communication skills and high levels of energy and stamina will be required to motivate staff and students to share a common set of values and help develop a culture which encourages individuals to work effectively within teams, whilst also performing at the highest levels to ensure high performance in student achievement.
