Warwickshire Adult and Community Learning works to provide high quality education to adults across the county. We are judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Programme Manager for our Personal and Community Development Learning (PCDL) curriculum area. You will lead a team of tutors in a diverse area that includes languages and arts programmes, with a strong focus on developing outstanding teaching and learning. With the support of our development workers, you will also use creative approaches to engage non-traditional learners and those from priority neighbourhoods.

You should have substantial, successful experience of teaching in an adult learning environment and hold a teaching qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. DET, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE) as well as English and maths at Level 2. You will have a good understanding of the barriers to adult participation in learning, and be committed to overcoming them. A creative problem-solver, you must be able to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues, learners and partner organisations.
