Hourly Paid Wellbeing and Mental Health Support Practitioner
Salary: £11.16 - £11.95 per hour, dependent on skills and experience- contract is hourly paid fixed term until 28 September 2018
Hours: Variable – but anticipate 16.5 hours per week term time only.

You will work within the School of Maths and English Additional Support Team to work under the supervision of the senior practitioner to provide ongoing support for learners with wellbeing and mental health issues, including mental health, autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD and acquired head injury. Applicants will be expected to have a good working knowledge of ASD or develop that knowledge on appointment.

You should have a Level 3 qualification, experience of working with young people and dealing with a variety of issues, with people from a variety of backgrounds. The candidate should also have the ability to establish positive and supportive working relationships with young people, understanding the significance of equality of opportunity and effectively communicate both orally and in writing and keep accurate records. Ability to travel between our College sites may also be required.
