Bolton College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible and experienced Clerk to join our successful team. Governors provide effective challenge, are experienced with a range of business and financial skills that ensure that leaders have the necessary focus and resources to improve the quality of teaching and learning. We are looking for an experienced Clerk who can provide an efficient and effective support service to the Corporation and its committees, impartial advice to Governors and senior managers in accordance with best practice in FE governance and have proven communication skills. As Clerk, you will also be required to write and present reports and have previous experience of preparing and minuting meetings. It is essential that you can prioritise a demanding workload and have the ability to work flexibly in term time to facilitate the scheduled meetings, including some early evenings.
