Salary: £18,751 - £22,389 actual including annual leave payment

Calderdale College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to work across the college to support the retention, achievement and progression of students on Higher Education, Access and Professional Studies programmes. The Progress Coach will work as part of a wider team to facilitate and deliver tutorial and other learning and work related activities.
The appropriate applicant would ideally have experience of working with adults in an education or training setting, be adaptable and learner focused with a passion for vocational education. This role requires someone who is a dynamic and innovative individual with the ability to influence and motivate students. Experience of coaching and/or supporting adults is preferable but more importantly is an understanding of and empathy towards adults and the barriers they might face whilst at college.
