We are seeking a tutor for maternity cover who can deliver Child care and Health & Social Care from entry level through to Level 3 and support adults to participate fully in their community and improve their employability prospects. Ideally you should be able to hit the ground running, have the skills and ability to plan lessons appropriate to adult learners from a variety of cultural and educational backgrounds, and be familiar with a wide variety of teaching methods currently considered good practice. You should be able to use differentiation and challenge to support success. You will be expected to strive to maintain above average success rates in all areas, using innovative teaching and utilising e-learning opportunities where appropriate.

You should hold a PCET, DTLLS or PGCE Level 4 or above teaching qualification and relevant ICT qualifications. You should also hold Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English. In addition, you should have up to date knowledge of current legislation in education, proven experience of teaching and the ability to provide outstanding support for learners.
