Head of School: Further Education
Rochester
Full Time Post
Salary: £63,009 - £70,836 per annum

The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has an exceptionally strong Further Education provision at all four campuses comprising a student population of over a 1,000 students. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to realise the enormous potential of these courses. The current portfolio includes the UALab Foundation Diploma in Art and Design as well as a growing number of Extended Diplomas and access courses. It is our ambition to extend this still further into cognate disciplinary areas that support the strong progression pathways into our undergraduate provision.

We are looking for an outstanding individual with significant experience of the management and delivery of relevant FE provision as well as an extensive knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the appropriate regulatory bodies including OFSTED; the operation of awarding boards and the statutory safeguarding and anti-radicalisation agendas. The successful individual will be committed to developing our provision to build on both its high quality and emerging opportunities for growth and progression into UCA’s HE provision.

The provision is delivered across all four of the UCA campuses and so some travel will be required between locations.
