Graduate - Engineering Lecturers – Get a teaching qualification!
Salary: £24,874.00 to £35,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience plus excellent benefits
Hours / weeks: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
As part of a national specialist recruitment programme called “SET for Teaching Success”, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Engineering Lecturers of the future to join Grantham College to teach in Electrical or Mechanical areas. The role will be teaching Levels 1 to 5, including vocational workshop units and evening classes. The areas of the College currently lectures in include, Electrical Principles, Industrial Power & Power Management, Electrical Installation and Three Phase Motors and Drives, Mechanical Principles, Thermodynamics, Design CAD/CAM, Applications and properties of materials (L2&3).
The successful candidates will have:
• 2:2 degree or above in Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills
• Rapport building skills
• Ability to learn and articulate complex technological terms
• Motivation & Drive
