We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational Chief Finance Officer to join Emmaus Catholic Academy at this significant point of its development. It is an exciting opportunity to support school improvement and be instrumental in delivering high quality education in our communities.
The primary focus of this key leadership role is to ensure the Trust makes the best possible use of resources through effective strategic planning, including consideration of all financial implications. You will be responsible for the efficient and prudent management of Trust funds through the provision of a comprehensive and accurate financial management service, including the monitoring of actuals against budget and reconciliations of income and expenditure.
As the most senior member of support staff, you will operationally lead and manage the areas of finance, catering, lettings, IT premises, HR, and administration. This post includes line management responsibility for a significant number of people and the post holder will be a member of the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team.
A highly competent individual, you will have a strong business acumen, expertise and an appropriate financial qualification, experience of working with and leading high-performing teams and a clear understanding of how to run highly efficient central services in support of an organisation’s mission.
