The Saint Teresa of Calcutta MAC, based in the heart of Birmingham, exists to serve and encourage young people to discover their God- given gifts and talents.
Our MAC currently supports three schools, two secondaries and a primary, and we will be welcoming three primary schools into our family in September. There are, however, many more schools who are looking to be part of our culture, ethos and success, so the potential for the future is very exciting indeed.
That is why our new CSEL must be committed to working collectively and collaboratively with our community. We want our MAC to be a family in the truest sense of the word – one where every school is able to embrace their own identity and individuality, but there are also common bonds that bring us all together.
The preferred candidate will not necessarily have experience of working directly in schools. They will be an inspiring leader who will understand the benefits of system leadership, have exceptional strategic capabilities and a powerful Catholic clarity of vision.
Above all, the successful candidate will have a commitment to helping every child to flourish and succeed and an awareness of the wonderful values and qualities that led St Teresa to transform so many lives of those within her gift.
