Data & Cover Officer
Job Details
We are looking for a Data & Cover Officer to work alongside our Data Manager to develop and maintain the school’s management information system (MIS) and ensure efficient use of all the MIS features. You will maintain up to date records and reporting of academy information such as student personal details and assessment data, staff information and timetable scheduling, whilst always ensuring information is both accurate and confidential.
As part of the cover role you will be required to organise daily cover for absent staff using the school diary which details planned absences, meetings, school trips and training, plus unplanned absences. Cover timetable and room changes will be identified, prioritised and planned for accordingly to ensure minimum disruption for our students.
This role offers remote working for part of the week, subject to prior agreement with management.
You will join a friendly close-knit school who believes strongly in teamwork to ensure consistency and best practice across all areas.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of working with CMIS or a similar database
- Have experience of working with BromCom or similar student database
- Experience of working in a similar school environment
- Excellent IT skills including advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
- A genuine passion and believe in the potential of every pupil
- Be adaptable, organised and able to build strong working relationships

Qualifications
- Access continuous staff development. We have a minimum of 10 training days and weekly in school sessions of a high standard. We strongly support NPQML, NPQSL and Lead Practitioner course.
