About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate Lecturer in Beauty to join us at The Bedford College Group. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying on a range of Beauty Therapy programmes.

Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.

Managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.

Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.

Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.

About you:

Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy

Willingness to work towards the Certificate in Education qualification

English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

Assessor qualification

Evidence of recent industrial updating

Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing

Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns
